“The cracked reed does not fall apart and the flickering oil lamp is not extinguished”

says the Prophet Isaiah.

In the course of carrying out social work, qualified social workers come in contact mostly with people whose lives have “disintegrated”. Our first task therefore–if not not the only one–is to show these broken people an achievable path nad show opportunities, with the aid of which they can once again resurrect their lives. In other words they can acchieve that the cracked reed splits no further and the flickering oil lamp stays alight.

This is only possible if human dignity is not damaged or lost, dignity is regained and the value of life is rekindled.

This WEB site portrays what is common: the real similarities in the human spirit despite their seeming background differences. Spanning time and space, it is designed to show the togetherness through the creations by those people who through the course of every day, regularly experience exclusion, judgment and non-acceptance, in fact that we are created from the same material. Money, health, political leaning or belonging to whichever religion does not matter. The human spirit, the innate purity and the vocation to do what is right and godd is what makes us all siblings, one body with different members, a valued pearl in string of pearls.
